Drake sure knows how to make a statement and impress his woman.
Check out the giant billboard he bought to congratulate Rihanna ahead of 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (Aug. 28), where she will be honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award
The billboard reads:
“Congratulations to Rihanna from Drake and Everyone at OVO.”
The gesture didn’t go unnoticed by Rihanna. She replied on Instagram saying:
“When he extra,”
Rumors have been swirling that the two music stars are secretly dating, which would explain why Drake would go to so much effort to congratulate the singer.Drake, meanwhile, has multiple VMA nods for his “Hotline Bling” video.
The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards airs live from New York’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET
