According to Vibe.com, as consumers wear their “dirty” sneakers, they lighten and brighten up until they almost appear new.
One X user hypothesized that the sneakers become cleaner when exposed to oxygen.
Complex revealed the sneaker on social media with a note card detailing the full release from the company’s Dot Swoosh division.
think it’s cause oxygen must be the reason it wears away. So only wearing it can expose the material to oxygen for a long enough duration for it to work maybe?

The note card provides information about the sneakers, including that they come with a toothbrush. This toothbrush is used by sneaker enthusiasts to clean their kicks.
The note card reads, “Here’s the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Dirty Triple White.’ The more you wear it, the more beautiful it becomes. It’s that simple. It’s a black-and-white design. We’ve also included a toothbrush in case you want to take matters into your own hands. Feel free to clean your kicks yourself. Make these AF1s your personal time machine.”
