Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, celebrated her 13th birthday on Tuesday, January 7th. Notably, she has been nominated for an NAACP Award for her outstanding performance as Kiara in Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King, where she showcased her remarkable talent in the field of voice-over acting.
Blue Ivy voiced the character Kiara, the daughter of Queen Nala and King Simba, in the 2019 film “The Lion King.” Beyoncé reprised her role as Nala, while Donald Glover returned as Simba. Blue had previously won an NAACP Award for her vocal contributions to “Brown Skin Girl,” a track from Beyoncé’s 2019 album “The Lion King: The Gift.”
Blue Ivy, one of the most renowned teenagers globally, made her dance debut during her mother Beyoncé’s “Renaissance World Tour.”
Beyoncé’s announcement of her pregnancy with Blue Ivy at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards sent shockwaves across the internet. Jay-Z honored his daughter by dedicating his song “Glory” to her just two days after her birth.
Blue Ivy won a Grammy Award for Best Music Video for her contribution to her mother’s “Brown Skin Girl” music video.
