New Tony Buzzbee Lawsuit: RocNation Was ‘Impersonating Fed Agents’

The legal battle between Jay Z and Tony Buzbee is escalating rapidly. In a recent lawsuit, Tony Buzbee alleges that individuals hired by Jay Z impersonated federal agents to deceive Buzbee’s former clients into filing lawsuits against their former lawyer.

Media Take Out confirmed that a second case has been filed by an individual claiming that Quinn Emanuel, a prominent law firm, and lawyer Marcy Croft orchestrated a scheme to solicit and compensate individuals to sue the Buzbee Law Firm.

Last month, Buzbee and his firm filed a similar case on behalf of a different plaintiff.

In the new case, Jose Maldonado alleges that he was approached by investigators working for Roc Nation who “pretended to be federal agents.” After confirming that he was a former client of the Buzbee Law Firm, Maldonado claims that the investigators encouraged him to sue Tony Buzbee and offered him financial incentives to do so.

The Buzbee Law Firm is currently pursuing an aggressive ‘Jane Doe’ rape case against Jay-Z and numerous sexual assault and abuse cases against Diddy.

The lawsuit alleges that the investigators “confirmed” their payment by Roc Nation and that they were sending all collected cases to lawyer Marcy Croft. It also claims that the investigators “bragged about the lawsuits that would result in the press.”

Marcy Croft has had a long-standing relationship with the Quinn Emanuel law firm, Roc Nation, and Jay Z’s charitable endeavors.

In a statement to the press, attorney Tony Buzbee condemned the alleged conduct, stating that it is illegal and unethical. He expressed his knowledge that investigators had illegally contacted former clients across the United States to entice them with money to sue the firm.

According to Mr. Maldonado, they have now identified the perpetrator behind this effort, and Buzbee stated that they will not be intimidated or deterred from their important work. He anticipated that more lawsuits will follow as former clients continue to report this egregious conduct.

Another Buzbee client filed a similar lawsuit in December against Quinn Emanuel and Marcy Croft of “barratry-solicitation and civil conspiracy,” a Texas law. The lawsuit included a transcript of an alleged conversation where individuals impersonating federal investigators solicited a man to file a legal malpractice suit against Buzbee and his firm.
