Beauty in Black, the hit Tyler Perry soap, is making a triumphant return this spring. Netflix has announced a Thursday, March 6 premiere date for Part 2 of the series.
Written and directed by Perry, the show follows the intertwined lives of two women, Kimmie and Mallory. Kimmie, a stripper with a compassionate spirit, struggles to make ends meet after her mother evicts her. On the other hand, Mallory is a ruthless mogul running a successful business. Despite their vastly different lives, they find themselves drawn to each other.
Taylor Polidore Williams stars as Kimmie, while Crystle Stewart portrays Mallory. The show boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Amber Reign Smith as Reign, Ricco Ross as Horace, Debbi Morgan as Olivia, Richard Lawson as Norman, Steven G. All eight episodes of Part 1 dropped in October 2024, leaving fans on a jaw-dropping cliffhanger. Having reached her breaking point, Kimmie slammed her car right into Body, a fellow stripper who spent the entirety of Part 1 making Kimmie’s life a living hell.
