Trailer for G20, Starring Viola Davis As the First Black Female President of the United States

Viola Davis stars as the formidable gun-toting first Black female President of the United States in the movie “G20.”

At the age of 59, Davis portrays President Danielle Sutton, a formidable leader who emerges as the beacon of hope when terrorists seize control of the G20 Summit in South Africa. Drawing upon her military expertise, Sutton valiantly defends her family and the world from the impending threat.

The film also features Anthony Anderson as her husband, Derek Sutton, and Marsai Martin as their daughter, Serena Sutton. Christopher Farrar portrays her son, Demetrius Sutton.

Davis’ real-life husband, Julius Tennon, adds another layer of authenticity to the film by playing the role of the CIA director.

Antony Starr delivers a chilling performance as Rutledge, the cunning and ruthless terrorist who orchestrates the takeover of the G20 summit. Rutledge and his team believe they have successfully captured all of the world’s leaders, but their arrogance blinds them to the fact that they have overlooked President Sutton.

Sutton, instead of waiting for help, springs into action and fights back with automatic weapons and grenades.

“I promise to get you out of here,” Sutton assures her children.

G20, a production of Amazon MGM Studios, is set to be released on Prime Video on April 10, 2025.
