There’s so much power in words, especially when it’s followed with action and Khalid’s story is a testament to that.
In January 2014, before he became popular, Khalid Amhearst Robinson tweeted that he would love to go to the Grammys someday. Years passed during which he worked hard and put out good music. Now, at just age 19, he’s been nominated for five categories in the Grammys, almost four years after he tweeted his wish.
The teenager has taken to Twitter to celebrate his dreams coming true and friends have also been congratulating him since the announcement.
