Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu, billionaire Chairman of the BUA Group, is
now putting finishing touches to his multi billion naira office complex.
Located beside Churchgate Building in the less boisterous part of
Victoria Island, the 12-storey edifice which promises to be the finest
and most equipped office in Lagos and beyond is being constructed by
Cappa and D’Alberto, the giant construction firm that had been operating
in Nigeria since 1932.
The Forbes-rated billionaire who is reputed for his fine taste in all
things of life that money can buy is not sparing expense in
constructing an office complex that would be talked about for eons to
come. All the furnishings and fittings and equipments were imported from
various shopping cities of the world like Paris, New York, London and
Italy.
Sources say the entirety of BUA Group would move in, in a few months
time. Samad’s BUA group is one of Nigeria’s largest
conglomerates specializing manufacturing, cement, sugar refinery
shipping, ,port concessions, real estate and edible oil, among others.
