As part of its annual Next on Netflix event, the streaming giant on Thursday morning issued a comprehensive list of TV and movie release dates for the remainder of 2025. And TVLine tried to make sense of it all, with the chronological timeline below.

The actual Next on Netflix press event, held in New York (in part) on Wednesday, featured appearances by John Mulaney (who cracked wise about the return of his live talk show), and Tina Fey (who touted her series adaptation of the 1981 Alan Alda rom-com The Four Seasons).
Guillermo del Toro appeared remotely to share a trailer for his Frankenstein movie, which stars Oscar Isaac and Jacob Elordi and looked pretty fantastic, with its use of practical effects and squicky make-up, plus a whiff of a steampunk vibe. The Duffer Brothers, Matt and Ross, came on stage to talk up Stranger Things 5, for which they shot 620 hours (!) of footage. They duo likened the farewell run to “eight blockbuster movies,” before cuing up a “making of” sizzle reel that flew by fast but offered some tantalizing storyline teases and character pairings.
Neither the Frankenstein trailer nor the Stranger Things 5 video are available to the public yet, alas.
