Geoffrey Shyam Stirling, the brother of former Real Housewives of Orange County star Lydia McLaughlin, tragically lost his life in a fatal shooting by police during a traffic stop in Newport Beach, California. The incident occurred on Thursday night along the Pacific Coast Highway, approximately 50 miles south of Los Angeles.
According to law enforcement sources, Stirling was riding a motorcycle when officers pulled him over. During the stop, he allegedly became uncooperative, leading to at least one officer opening fire. Stirling was promptly transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Thankfully, no officers were injured in the unfortunate incident.
In response to the tragic event, the California Attorney General’s Office has initiated an independent investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the deadly encounter.
