French Montana, born Karim Kharbouch in Morocco, first met Sheikha Mahra in October 2024 when she gave him a private tour of Dubai. The pair went public with their romance during Paris Fashion Week earlier this year, where Montana walked the runway for 3.PARADIS Spring/Summer 2026.
Sheikha Mahra, who is estimated to have a net worth exceeding $18 billion, has her own line of luxury haircare products and commands a following of over 1.1 million Instagram fans.
Montana moved from Morocco to the Bronx, New York, at age 13, where he began his career as a battle rapper. He gained mainstream success with his 2013 debut album Excuse My French, which reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200.
His hit single “Pop That” (with Rick Ross, Drake, and Lil Wayne) became a summer anthem, while his 2017 track “Unforgettable” featuring Swae Lee went on to be certified Diamond by the RIAA after selling 10 million units.
Sheikha Mahra made global headlines in 2024 after announcing her divorce on Instagram in a now-viral post. Citing her ex-husband’s infidelity, she wrote:
“Dear Husband, as you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife.”
She and her former husband share a young daughter.
With Montana now set to join Dubai royalty through marriage, the engagement marks one of the most talked-about celebrity-royalty unions of the decade.
