ICE arrests nearly 1,000 illegal aliens during sixth day of Trump administration

According to many ICE field offices, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conducted about 1,000 arrests on Sunday, with the southeastern United States seeing the most activity.

956 people were detained and 554 detainers were filed, according to the agency, indicating that “there is probable cause to believe that the person is removable from the United States under federal immigration law.”

One of the two Dominican Republic citizens who were arrested in Puerto Rico was accused of domestic abuse, and the other was accused of driving while intoxicated.
A Nicaraguan national was detained at the Broward County Jail for driving with a suspended license, unlawfully carrying a hidden weapon, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and firing a pistol in public.

While a Mexican resident at the Martin County Jail was charged with traffic crimes and found guilty of numerous DUIs, a Jamaican resident was arrested on charges of possessing oxycodone, displaying a handgun during a felony offense, and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.ICE arrests nearly 1,000 illegal aliens during sixth day of Trump administration

“#ICE protects America by enforcing US immigration laws to preserve national security & public safety,” the Miami field office posted on X.

Mass deportation operations have been conducted daily since President Donald Trump took office last Monday; on his first day, up to 400 arrests were made.

“Removing criminal aliens from our communities isn’t just enforcement—it’s protection. Ensuring the safety and security of our neighborhoods starts with upholding the law,” the Atlanta field office said.
