Jeff Bezos is facing accusations of “faking” the historic all-female Blue Origin space flight that took place on Monday. The rocket launched from a site in West Texas at approximately 9:30 a.m., carrying six women on board, including renowned news anchor Gayle King and popular pop star Katy Perry.
However, the flight was relatively short, lasting only 11 minutes in space before returning to Earth. This brief duration sparked rumors that the entire event was staged.

Despite footage from inside the capsule showing the women floating in the weightlessness of space, social media users are skeptical that the flight was genuine. They believe it was a PR stunt.

One user on X (Twitter) asserts to have evidence proving that the space flight was staged. He shared footage of the capsule door being opened from the inside, but a grounds crew member promptly closed the door.
Reporters who covered the space flight overlooked the fact that someone within the capsule had opened the door.

One X user said a spacecraft returning to Earth will usually land in water – not on the ground. They suggested the crew hid in an underground tunnel and they climbed up into the capsule after it landed.
As the capsule lands, there is a sudden rush of air under the capsule. One user suggested a large fan under the capsule was used to blow the dirt away from the underground tunnel door beneath the capsule.

Another user mentioned that the rocket reached an altitude of 62 miles above Earth. However, this altitude is insufficient for experiencing zero gravity.
On the other hand, a third person claimed that weightlessness was experienced when they were rapidly descending back to Earth. They drew a comparison to the sensation of weightlessness on a rollercoaster.
