If you’ve been on TikTok recently, you’ve probably seen her: standing in front of a passing London bus, smiling warmly into the camera, no words needed. That’s Bemi Orojuogun “London Bus Aunty” to her thousands of followers and now she’s bringing her signature charm to a Burberry campaign.
The British luxury brand’s latest project, Back to the City, celebrates London in all its style and spirit. And who better to feature than the woman who’s turned the city’s red double-deckers into social media icons? In the campaign video, Bemi is joined by models Nora Attal, Rubuen Bilan-Carroll, and Libby Bennett, along with musician Jimothy Lacoste, who provides a catchy original soundtrack. Together, they transform a double-decker ride into a fashion-forward tour of the capital.
Bemi’s TikTok fame is rooted in more than playful bus videos it’s deeply personal. She began filming them as a tribute to her late husband, whom she met on a London bus. Before his passing last year, she promised she’d keep embracing life, and those short, joyful clips are part of fulfilling that vow.
Her passion for buses has since taken her beyond the streets of the capital. She’s collaborated with brands on creative projects, from a Wowcher-decorated bus to swapping her usual ride for rollercoasters with Alton Towers.
Now, with Burberry, “London Bus Aunty” is taking her place as one of the city’s most unlikely and most beloved style ambassadors.
