Pence’s Wife Snubs Trump at Carter Funeral (Video)

Former Vice President Mike Pence’s wife, Karen Pence, made a notable absence from shaking hands with President-elect Donald Trump at former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral service in Washington, D.C., on Thursday.

While video footage shows Trump and his wife, Melania, exchanging handshakes with Al Gore and Pence, Karen Pence chose not to engage in this gesture.

An anti-Trump account on the social media platform X (Twitter) commented on the incident, stating, “BREAKING: Mike Pence’s wife, Karen Pence, refuses to greet Trump at President Carter’s funeral. Considering Trump’s actions that led to a mob attempting to harm her husband, this decision is understandable.”

Another individual expressed admiration for Karen Pence, calling her a “hero of the day” and praising her for standing up to the Trumps.

A third person commented, “Pence is a dignified man, and Trump will likely criticize him on Twitter later today. However, Mike Pence’s wife demonstrated remarkable courage and refused to be intimidated by the person who tried to harm her husband. She rightly chose not to engage with him.”

Former VP Pence and Trump have not seen each other since the January 6 protests.
