Porsha Williams’ Ex Simon Guobadia Deported Back to Nigeria

Porsha Williams’ estranged husband, Simon Guobadia, has been deported back to his native Nigeria. Simon had been in ICE custody since February.

According to his business partner, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member was deported a few days ago.

Simon, 61, was held at the Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia, since being detained at Atlanta’s Hartsfield Airport after arriving on a flight in February.

Simon’s business partner, Tai Savet, stated that Simon was in “good spirits” and that he held no grudge against President Donald Trump.

In an exclusive interview with Michelle “ATLien” Brown, Simon revealed that he would not fight his deportation and was preparing to be released from ICE custody.

He expressed gratitude for the treatment he received from ICE employees, particularly the black women who were fans of the show.

Simon believes that Porsha had a role in his arrest when he arrived in the U.S. to attend their divorce hearing in February.

Simon immigrated to the United States in 1982 but overstayed his visa and was deported. He returned in 1986 under an alias name and was deported again, yet somehow managed to return to America.

Years later, Simon applied for legal residency in the U.S. but his application was denied. However, he eventually met and married RHOA cast member Falynn Pina.

On May 10, 2021, Porsha Williams announced her engagement to Simon after only a month of dating.

Following her divorce from Falynn, Simon married Porsha on November 25, 2022. However, in February 2024, Porsha filed for divorce.

In response to her divorce proceedings, Porsha sought to enforce their prenup agreement. A judge granted her request, allowing her to reside in their $7.2 million marital home in Sandy Springs during the ongoing divorce.

Simon’s deportation complicates his divorce from Porsha. He was scheduled to appear virtually at their divorce hearing on Wednesday, June 11.

It’s worth noting that former President Donald Trump has vowed to deport 15-20 million illegal immigrants during his second term in office.
