Chairman Kalabalge LGA of Borno State, Babagana Malaria, has
revealed the current number of people to have died from the Rann
bombing. According to him, the death toll of last Tuesday’s accidental
Rann bombing, has risen to 236 with over 200 deceased buried by their
relations.
.He made this known yesterday, while
briefing the Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, who was on an
on-the-spot assessment tour of the affected community.
Malaria, also demanded that survivors be adequately compensated.
