Candace Owens Doubles Down After Brigitte Macron Lawsuit: ‘You Were Born a Man and You Will Die a Man’

Candace Owens, known for her controversial statements, has intensified her claims that French First Lady Brigitte Macron is a man. In response, French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, filed a lawsuit against Owens in Delaware on Wednesday, July 23.

Owens addressed the lawsuit during her podcast on Wednesday. She revealed that she had just been served with the lawsuit and is prepared to engage in legal battles with the couple.

In legal proceedings, defendants typically have 30 days to respond to a lawsuit, or a default judgment will be automatically filed in favor of the plaintiff.

Owens expressed her determination to prove Brigitte’s gender identity, stating that she would risk her entire professional career on this endeavor.

During her podcast, Owens addressed Brigitte directly, asserting, “You were born a man, and you will die a man.”

The Macrons, in their lawsuit, asserted that Owens’ claims are “demonstrably false” and defamatory. They alleged that Owens disseminated these false claims on social media in pursuit of fame.

The lawsuit includes photos of Brigitte when she was young and newspaper announcements of her birth. Additionally, it mentions that she gave birth to three children with her first husband.

However, Owens dismissed the Macrons’ denials and their photo evidence.

“I think you’re sick. I think you’re disgusting. And I am fully prepared to take on this battle on behalf of the entire world,” Owens said. “I will see you in court.”
