Diddy’s inmate outfit from movie ‘Monster’s Ball’ sells for $24,500

Diddy’s prison costume from one of his earliest major film roles has fetched a staggering $24,510 at auction.

The outfit, which included a gray hoodie, jeans with one pant leg cut off, and black shoes, was worn by Diddy in the 2001 romantic thriller Monster’s Ball. The ensemble made an appearance in the film’s opening scenes before his character’s grim fate on Death Row.

GWS Auctions, the auction house that handled the sale, disclosed that the bidding attracted a total of 49 bids and concluded on June 7. Notably, the lot included a production costumer’s tag that provided detailed information about the items and the scenes in which they were featured, further enhancing its collectible value.

While Diddy is currently facing federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges and wearing very different prison attire in real life, the actual prison clothes have not been released to the public. However, considering the high price of his movie costume, the potential value of any real prison clothing could be significant.
