Tottenham ace Erik Lamela scored a second-half header to deny Ronald Koeman a first win as Everton manager and a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park.
Everton took the lead after just five minutes when Ross Barkley curled in a free-kick which bypassed every player inside the penalty area and flew all the way into the far corner.
Things went from bad to worse from Tottenham soon after when captain Hugo Lloris was taken off injured, but substitute goalkeeper Michel Vorm made a great stop to deny Gerard Deulofeu making it 2-0.

And Spurs soon found an equaliser when Lamela bulleted a header past Maarten Stekelenburg, before the Everton goalkeeper made a superb save to deny Vincent Janssen notching the winner.
