The Ghana Immigration Service has listed strict criteria that will
see several applicants dismissed from the recruitment process.
The agency of the government of Ghana says all ladies who have low
heights, bowed legs, stretch marks and bleached skin will be
automatically dismissed from the recruitment program.
The Head of Public Affairs at the Immigration Service, Superintendent
Michael Amoako-Attah, says the reason behind the decision is to prevent
such ladies from severe damages during their line of work.
According to him, the first screening process will exclude persons
with low heights, bowed legs, stretch marks as well as bleached skins.
“We are looking out for people with flat foot, surgical and stretch
marks, bleached skins. For such people, we don’t entertain them,”
Superintendent Michael Amoako-Attah told the Daily Graphic in a recent
interview.
Meanwhile, the vacancies opened for just 500 persons at the Ghana
Immigration Service, is understood to have received over 80,000
applications in the recruitment process.
