Obama Fires Back At Trump Who Posted AI Video of Him Being Arrested

In a rare public statement, former President Barack Obama responded to President Donald Trump’s recent sharing of an AI-generated video depicting Obama’s arrest by the FBI.

Following a series of attacks by Trump, Obama’s office issued a statement. Trump had previously called for the Justice Department to investigate Obama, accusing the former president of criminal behavior.

Last week, Trump requested Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence, to investigate Obama for “treason” based on the release of declassified documents.

Trump appeared to imply that the documents implicated Obama in RussiaGate.

In response, Gabbard submitted a “criminal referral” to the Department of Justice, alleging a “Obama administration conspiracy to subvert President Trump’s 2016 victory and presidency.”

Obama’s statement, released on Tuesday, expressed concern about the situation.

“Out of respect for the office of the presidency, our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response. But these claims are outrageous enough to merit one. These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a week attempt at distraction. Nothing in the document issued last week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes. These findings were affirmed in a 2020 report by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, led by then-Chairman Marco Rubio.”

On Sunday, Trump shared an AI-generated video depicting Obama’s arrest by the FBI in the Oval Office.

The AI-generated clip commences with Obama delivering a speech emphasizing, “No one, especially the president, is above the law.”

The scene then transitions to Trump and Obama sitting side by side in the Oval Office in January. Suddenly, three FBI agents appear, and two of them forcefully lift Obama from his chair. Obama is compelled to his knees and handcuffed behind his back, while Trump displays a grin of amusement.

In the final scene, Obama is depicted wearing an orange jail jumpsuit and standing behind bars.

Obama supporters responded to the AI video, expressing their outrage. One X user remarked, “This is the most racist thing I’ve ever seen.”

VIBE magazine titled a recent article, “Trump, A Convicted Felon, Posts AI Video Of Barack Obama Being Arrested.”

TheRoot.com’s headline read, “Trump Dragged to Hell For Posting This Deeply Offensive AI Video of Barack Obama.”

TheGrio.com declared, “Trump officials attempt to reframe the DOJ investigation of Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election.”
