Full Hotel Video of Sean Combs and Cassie Reveals New Details

The U.S. Department of Justice has released the complete surveillance video of a 2016 incident involving Sean “Diddy” Combs and his former partner, Cassie Ventura. The video offers new context to a previously reported domestic dispute at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, California.

In the unedited video, Sean Combs is seen in a bath towel chasing Cassie down a hotel hallway. He briefly catches up to her at an elevator, where he knocks her down and kicks at her. He is then seen grabbing her hoodie and pulling her a short distance before releasing her and walking away.

CNN obtained the video and aired it in May 2024. CNN selectively edited the footage to imply that Combs dragged Cassie all the way to their hotel suite.

But the full video shows Combs letting go of Cassie’s hoodie and calmly walking away from her.

Earlier reports had only shown part of this encounter. CNN’s edited clip, aired in May 2024, was criticized for implying Combs dragged Cassie further than shown in the uncut version.

Sources close to Combs allege Cassie took a Louis Vuitton bag containing cash, although this claim remains unverified.

During the ongoing sex trafficking trial in New York, a former hotel employee testified that Combs attempted to bribe him with money to stay silent. Another witness, Officer Israel Florez, who worked hotel security at the time, stated that Cassie appeared frightened and that a flower vase was broken on the scene.

Cassie Ventura is currently testifying in the trial. Her statements are part of the ongoing case against Combs, although jurors have reportedly expressed frustration due to a perceived lack of concrete evidence thus far.
