Trump is in the Epstein Files – Musk

Tech billionaire Elon Musk asserted that President Donald Trump is mentioned in the Epstein files, claiming that this is the genuine reason behind the records’ non-public release. However, he failed to provide any evidence supporting his claim.

According to a recent tweet just posted by the Tesla boss on X,

Context on Epstein files: For years, numerous right-wing media figures have suggested that the government is concealing secrets related to Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted pedophile who tragically passed away by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges. Various versions of this conspiracy theory allege that the government is covering up a list of prominent individuals who have also committed heinous crimes.

This theory has often been condensed into the term “Epstein client list.” However, the most reliable reporter on this beat, Julie K. Brown of the Miami Herald, has clarified that “decades of FBI casework indicate no evidence Epstein maintained a ledger or list of clients involved in his sex trafficking operation.” Simply including a person’s name in files related to the case does not necessarily imply they have been accused of any wrongdoing.

Despite this, Trump, who had a long-standing friendship with Epstein, discussed the possibility of releasing more governmental files related to the disgraced financier during the 2024 presidential campaign.

Earlier this month, Attorney General Pam Bondi attempted to fulfill this request. She stated that Trump had instructed her to review government files concerning Epstein and provide transparency to the public. In February, she released an initial batch of files that largely mirrored information that had already been made public.
