Escaped Prisoner Asks Trump and Celebrities for Help in Viral Instagram Video

An escaped prisoner from the Orleans Justice Center (OJC) has gone viral after posting an Instagram video from his hideout, asking former President Donald Trump and several celebrities for help. As the manhunt enters its third week, the inmate, identified as Antoine Massey, claims he’s a victim of injustice and corruption.

Massey, who escaped with nine other inmates on May 16, appears in the video denying the allegations that led to his arrest and escape. He insists that he was “let out” of OJC rather than breaking out violently and calls for help from celebrities including, Donald Trump, Meek Mill, Lil Wayne, NBA YoungBoy

“I’m Not Who I Was” – Massey Defends Himself

In the video, Massey states, “Who I was in the past is not who I am today,” while denying claims that he threatened a maintenance worker with a weapon. He calls the jail system “corrupted” and references both Orleans Justice Center and St. Tammany Parish jails.

He also claims the domestic abuse battery charge that kept him locked up was based on a false report made by a jealous girlfriend. Massey displayed what he said were affidavits, asserting: “This is the affidavits on a date right here.”

Accusations of Corruption and Injustice

Massey accused the State of Louisiana of corruption and stated he was being unfairly prosecuted and mistreated behind bars. He claimed he was facing life in prison for charges he did not deserve and said his decision to escape was driven by a need to flee an unjust situation.

Ongoing Manhunt for Escapees

Massey is one of ten inmates who escaped from the Orleans Justice Center on May 16. Law enforcement has since recaptured eight of the escapees. Only Massey and Derrick Groves remain at large.

Authorities have also arrested more than a dozen individuals suspected of helping the escapees.

A $50,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the capture of Groves and Massey.
